The blogosphere is having a little fun and expressing some real outrage at Governor Scott Walker over his latest propaganda email update. From prwatch.org:
Even before a recall election prompted by some 1 million Wisconsin residents has been scheduled, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has given himself a new job. In an email to constituents on March 2, he changed his title from Governor to “Governer.”
The error was discovered by Madison disc jockey Nick Nice, who wrote in a Facebook message: “Actual screen shot from Walker’s latest email. I don’t even think Bush would have misspelled ‘President.’ Wow.”
In a blistering, must read post at Monologues of Dissent, the self described “commie mommy blogger™” rips Walker a new one:
How dare you ignore every communication from me and every other concerned, worried, outraged, terrified, devoted, patriotic, taxpaying citizen who has written to you since you took office? How dare you then have the nerve to pretend that your auto-mailed propaganda is a “response” of any kind to the thousands of serious concerns we have raised with your policies, your strategy, your approach to governance, your cronyism, your nepotistic tendencies, your subservience to out-of-state interests and wealthy benefactors? How dare you pretend that this constitutes a “response” to our concerns?
Facebook and twitter users are also having a blast analyzing Walker’s signature. The consensus is that Walker’s real name must be Joe. Or maybe that’s the name of the staffer who writes Walker’s campaign literature email updates.
As prwatch reminds us, Walker’s crack staff of writers misspelled the name of Walker’s home town in a release last year. My favorite, though, is a Walker tweet from last November. I posted briefly about it at the time, but I guess I have to change the title of that post to “That’s Are Governer”…

While I dislike Walker’s policies, I would never criticize him for using a personal grooming product like “Hair in a Can”.
Wow! Potent critique! Next time, criticize his haircut for added power!
His haircut? I don’t criticize physical appearance. Male pattern baldness is hereditary. Trust me. I know.
A governor’s misspelling of his job title in an official email sent to tens of thousands of citizens is a sign of laziness and/or incompetence, and is fair game for ridicule.
Wow. Another good point with added bonus of revealing the hereditary nature of hair loss. Yes…continue to focus on the importance of Walker’s staff’s spelling..or his signature. Potent stuff.
(But I bet you were posting similar critiques of Obama when he referred to 57 states or repeatedly read corpsmen as corpse men.)

He can seek help by simply signing “I resign”.
“pray away the speelin isuse” – sounds like a religious tutoring service for the spelling-impaired.
