On Wednesday Jan. 25, Scott Walker will deliver a state of the state address. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say about the more than 1 million signatures gathered for his recall and the criminal charges levied against a string of his top operatives [by the way, rumor has it more are coming down the pike this week].
But why merely wait for Walker’s spin when you can act? Below are details on a Mining Hearing, a People’s State of the State and a Tribunal on the mining bill AB-426 as well as a Bury the Mining Bill Rally.
I suspect there will be a spontaneous gathering of individuals in the Capitol rotunda during Walker’s State of the State speech Wednesday night (I’ve heard that tickets to his speech are dispensed to favored individuals first and are not easy to come by).
Expect to see many citizens from our most Northern counties including members of the Bad River and other Wisconsin tribes.

State of the State address: Vuvuzelas anyone?
Drums instead, please, the vuvuzelas apparently do a really good job of spreading germs (there was a BBC report on this). We need our opposition healthy and focused!
