Well it’s nice to see the Democratic Party of Wisconsin having some fun at Paul Ryan’s expense. They passed out these “Wacky Vouchers” in Racine yesterday to raise awareness about Ryan’s radical plan to reshape Medicare. The vouchers read: “Paul Ryan’s budget plan relies on massive cuts to Medicare, including a ration program.”
Ryan’s plan called “A Roadmap for America’s Future” includes a plan to revamp Medicare by: promoting private insurance through a voucher program, by gradually reducing the value of each voucher, by raising the age of eligibility from 65 years to 69 years and 6 mos., and by reducing the program’s funding by 75% by 2080.
