Video of Americans for Prosperity tent getting torn down and scuffles near Capitol building Lansing, Michigan

I’m just going to share this.
I won’t try and think for you. I won’t tell you how to react.

There were numerous cops in Lansing, Michigan on that day judging by all of the photos I saw. There were none around that Americans for Prosperity tent. Those media guys were not worried – in fact on the video I heard them laughing. 48 seconds into the 2nd video a man tells them to “get everybody out of there NOW”. They ignore him.

Is hanging out in the middle of thousands of angry men who are tearing down your tent a display of cockiness? Madness? I don’t get it.

UPDATE:
Here’s a witness saying that he saw a man with an NRA hat and jacket – seemingly with the Americans for Prosperity group – loosening the tent stakes – while people were in the tent. He says nobody was rushing at the tent and they did not immediately rush the tent or trample it, however they did cheer. He says some people did step on the tent right away and then others quickly shooed them off quickly since there were some people under the collapsed tent.
